Zari’s hubby Shakib showers her with love as they enjoy weekend together
Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan and her husband Shakib Cham are proving that love knows no distance. The couple, who have been maintaining a long-distance relationship, reunited for the weekend and shared beautiful moments, much to the delight of their fans.
On Saturday, April 26, 2025, Shakib took to his Facebook and Snapchat to post a series of cosy photos of himself and Zari enjoying each other’s company.
In one of the posts, Shakib opened up about his feelings, expressing his love for his wife.
“All my life I have been cold-hearted ☺️🥹 so if I tell you I love you, surely I mean it,” Shakib wrote.
Shakib’s admiration for Zari
Their love story has had its share of ups and downs, including public breakups, but Shakib has never shied away from expressing his affection for Zari.
Earlier this year, on February 5, 2025, he posted more affectionate photos on his Facebook page, praising Zari as an extraordinary woman. He shared how blessed he feels to have her by his side.

Back in January 2025, after the release of Young, Famous and African season three on Netflix, he again showed his gratitude and love. Being featured in the popular unscripted reality TV series was a huge milestone in Shakib’s life, and he credited Zari for inspiring and supporting him throughout the journey.
The professional boxer thanked his wife for making him a Netflix star and encouraging him to chase his dreams.
“Hey, wife, just wanted to say thanks for making me a Netflix star. Here’s to many more moments of joy, love, and Netflix fame,” he said.
