Zabron Singers member Marco Joseph dies at 30

Tanzanian gospel artiste and member of the Zabron singers Marco Joseph is dead.

His group members confirmed the 30-year-old’s demise in a post shared via their official Instagram page.

According to the group, the musician who was battling a heart condition died while undergoing treatment at the Muhimbili National hospital (MNH) in Dar es Salaam on the night of Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

“It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marco Joseph Bukuru, who departed from this world on 21sth August 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and one of the ministers at Zabron Singers.

“Our family thanks you in advance for your overwhelming love, prayers and support during this difficult time,” the group said in a statement.

Adding;

“More information on burial arrangements and plans to follow. May God rest his soul in eternal peace.”

Joseph was the lead vocalist in his team which included; Victoria Zabron, Japhet Zabron, Jamila Dotto, Samuel Joseph, Semroza Godfrey, Grace Madata, and Joyce Zabron.

The group gained fame after their hitsong ‘Mkono wa Bwana’ and ‘Sweetie Sweetie’. They are also known for the song ‘Uko Single’ and ‘Sisi Ndio Wale’ among others.
