Businesswoman Huddah Monroe has said that she wants to hold a press conference to ban Kenyan men from ever speaking to her.

She explained on Monday, November 17, 2025, that she only wants to speak to men if she chooses to. According to Huddah, most men in the country show disrespectful behaviour, cannot take care of women, and lack respect.

She added, “May God protect us from men with low self-esteem. Especially, 70 per cent of Kenyan men have low self-esteem. They’ll insult you just for refusing to talk to them. And they love gossiping 90 per cent of the time. Umama wamejaa nayo.”

Huddah made a distinction between younger and older generations. She said Gen Z men are very respectful, while Millennial men often act poorly. She explained that even if someone is nice and talks to them, they may still respond with disrespect.

Huddah shares personal experiences

Huddah also shared a personal encounter to show the type of behaviour she deals with. She recalled, “One obese guy said ati he bagged me in front of 10 guys. Not even my type. I was sooo shocked just coz I was nice. So no! Do not speak to me.”

Her statement reflects her frustration with men who assume that friendliness is an invitation for more.

She said that her decision is about setting boundaries and protecting herself from disrespect. Huddah’s remarks highlight her views on the challenges women face when interacting with men who lack respect and self-control. Her call for a press conference shows how strongly she feels about the issue.

The discussion also touches on generational differences in behaviour, as Huddah praises Gen Z men for their respectfulness compared to older men. Her comments show the importance of personal boundaries and the need for men to respect women’s choices in interactions.

Huddah has made it clear that she will not tolerate disrespect and insists that only men she chooses to speak to should approach her. This episode adds to Huddah’s reputation as outspoken and willing to speak her mind on issues affecting women, especially regarding respect and how they should be treated by men.
