‘We’re all striving for the same goal!’ Gloria Ntazola hits back at fitness criticism

Gloria Ntazola has urged social media users to stop criticising each other over the methods they use to get fit or lose weight.
She said on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, that people are unnecessarily throwing insults at one another online, even though everyone is working toward the same goal of improving their appearance.
Ntazola said, “Nimekua niki scroll huku TikTok napatana na post ingine inasema watu wanaenda gym for two years. Mnajua nyinyi mnaumizana? Why are you throwing insults at each other? We are both striving towards the same goal. Whether you are doing Ozempic, whether you are doing gym, whether you are doing a surgery, we are striving towards the same goal.”
She explained that people should focus on results rather than judging the method used to achieve them.

She explained the different ways people approach weight loss and fitness.
“You wanna lose weight through the gym, that’s fine. You wanna lose weight through Ozempic and Mounjaro, that’s fine. You wanna lose weight through a gastric sleeve, that is totally fine. The results ndio we are all interested in. We don’t care what method you use to lose weight,” she said, stressing that the result matters more than the process.
Stop the insults, focus on results
Ntazola further called for an end to online insults and negativity surrounding fitness journeys. She said that whether someone uses medication, exercise, or surgery, it does not matter as long as the goal is achieved.
“Stop throwing insults at each other. We are all looking sexy; whatever procedure is used to attain the sexy body is not a big deal. Is the result there or not?” she asked.

Her comments come amid ongoing debates on social media about the “right” way to lose weight, with some people criticising others for using modern methods like Ozempic, Mounjaro, or surgical procedures. Ntazola said that everyone’s approach is personal and valid, and that judging others only creates unnecessary conflict.
She encourages people to celebrate results and progress rather than focus on the method.
