DJ Spider hypes Sifuna’s supporters ahead of Linda Mwananchi’s Meru tour

Fredrick Muyangu, widely known as DJ Spider, is building anticipation ahead of the upcoming Linda Mwanachi tour of Meru, using music to rally supporters and give them a taste of what to expect when the team arrives in the county.
In a message to Meru residents on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, the DJ urged supporters to turn up in large numbers for the August 30, 2026, political event.
“Watu wa meru tunapatana August 30, 2026, Linda Mwananchi inakuja na mhakikishe mumekuja kwa wingi tunawapenda sana,” DJ Spider said
The DJ has also been sharing some of the songs expected to feature during the tour, with the music offering a glimpse into the political atmosphere surrounding the upcoming event.
Meru’s playlist
One of the songs he played is Murega Baichu’s Kimeru track dedicated to Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna ahead of the tour.
Baichu’s song welcomes Sifuna to Meru and declares support for the senator, with lyrics portraying Sifuna and Meru as closely connected. The song also comes as political activity around the planned Linda Mwananchi tour continues to build.
Another song highlighted by DJ Spider is “Sifuna Anthem” by Majirani Parodies, which goes beyond Sifuna and references several leaders associated with the political movement.
The song mentions Sifuna alongside Linda Mwananchi and other political figures, including former Siaya governor James Orengo, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya.
By playing the songs ahead of the tour, DJ Spider appears to be setting the tone for the August 30 gathering while encouraging supporters to turn up in large numbers.
The Linda Mwananchi team, led by Sifuna, is expected in Meru on August 30, with former Meru governor Kawira Mwangaza previously welcoming the team and calling on residents to ensure the visit remains peaceful.
With music, political messaging and calls for a strong turnout already dominating the build-up, DJ Spider’s playlist is giving supporters a preview of the atmosphere expected when Linda Mwananchi arrives in Meru.
