Wapendwa Muziki declare their relationship off-limits to infidelity

Celebrated gospel duo Wapendwa Muziki have come out to denounce what they described as the spirit of cheating and affirmed that their relationship remains intact and increasingly anchored in faith, love, and shared purpose.
Appearing on Oga Obinna’s show on the night of Wednesday, July 30, 2025, the couple brought the studio to life with a passionate live performance, delivering a powerful gospel song themed around breaking demonic cycles that sow distrust, infidelity, and emotional disconnection in marriages.
It was during this emotionally charged song that they began to declare their unwavering stand against adultery, not in response to any circulating rumour or specific allegation, but as a firm spiritual positioning over their union.
They made it unmistakably clear that they were not addressing any personal accusations but were simply putting it on record that cheating, as a spirit, had no room in their marriage.
“We have rebuked the spirit of cheating completely. We do not want it, and we have cast it out. God has truly worked in our lives,” the couple proclaimed, lifting their hands as they sang in unison, turning the interview.
As the music swelled, the duo proudly held up their wedding rings, making visible the symbols of their commitment while testifying about the grace that has kept them together.
They sang at length about the beauty of marriage, emphasising that love alone is not enough; it takes prayer, patience, spiritual maturity, and mutual respect to weather the challenges that come with union.
Obinna collabo
Beyond the rumours, Wapendwa Muziki also stole the show with a moving live performance that impressed their host, comedian and media personality Oga Obinna.
Touched by their vocal strength and emotional delivery, Obinna revealed plans to collaborate with the couple on a gospel track.
“They have something special. You can feel the connection, not just between them, but in how they minister through music,” Obinna said, hinting that the upcoming collaboration will be anchored in testimony and transformation.
The couple expressed joy at the opportunity, promising fans a powerful and uplifting gospel release that will reflect their shared journey of love, resilience, and faith.
Cheating claims
Before their defiant praise session on Obinna TV, Wapendwa Muziki had already captured public attention through a deeply personal revelation made by Nina, the female half of the gospel duo.
Her confession that she would never leave her husband, Mesh, even if he cheated, sent ripples across social media and triggered a flood of mixed reactions.

In a candid interview shared just weeks earlier, Nina stood her ground and declared that her marriage was founded on prayer, divine direction, and a vow to stay, no matter the storms.
She emotionally stated that she had asked God to send her a man of faith, and because her husband was, in her eyes, heaven-sent, she would not abandon him even in the face of betrayal.
“There is nothing that would make us part ways. Imagine I will love you forever. I will let God deal with you. I said I will let my God deal with you because He is the one who brought us together. I prayed and told God to bring me a man of God, a man who will love me and treat me well. So know you were brought by God. If you cheat, you only deal with Him. He will punish you, and I am sticking with you,” Nina said.
Her words came shortly after a tense moment in their relationship had gone viral, when she publicly called Mesh a “kafukuswi” and urged him to stop being overly emotional and start acting like a man.
The outburst shocked fans and raised questions about their dynamic behind the scenes.
While Nina preached unwavering loyalty, her husband’s stance was notably different.
Mesh, in the same interview, openly admitted that if roles were reversed and she cheated, he would have no choice but to walk away.
The conflicting views exposed the delicate balance in their marriage and fuelled intense online discussion.
