VJ Patelo urges Stoopid Boy to work with him as his post-wedding fame grows

By , August 5, 2025

Eastlands-born rapper and media personality Stanley, alias VJ Patelo, has publicly invited fellow artiste Stoopid Boy to collaborate on a new song, following kind words Stoopid Boy shared about his wedding to long-time partner Diana.

Patelo’s call came after Stoopid Boy expressed admiration for the way he has grown and settled down.

Responding to the praise in a TikTok video on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, Patelo appealed to Stoopid Boy to join him in creating a song that would shake the music industry.

He emphasised the strong connection he feels with Stoopid Boy and urged him to seriously consider the collaboration offer.

“You too, Stoopid Boy, let us come together and do a collaboration. Mbogi is forever; we all come from these streets.”

Stoopid Boy had earlier praised Patelo as a man of wisdom who seized the golden opportunity to transform his life when it presented itself, refusing to let it slip away.

Speaking about Patelo’s wife, Diana, he expressed admiration for her success and how her wealth has now begun to uplift Patelo, simply because he chose to stand steadfastly by her side.

The ‘Gbag Na Jug’ hitmaker also confessed that he is constantly on the lookout for a similar blessing, a prosperous woman who shows genuine interest in him, and admitted he would swiftly embrace the chance to marry her without hesitation.

“If I ever get a chance like Patelo’s, to have a woman, money, and someone who supports me, I would never let that go. First, Patelo said that when people speak badly about me, it smells bad, and it smells worse in the neighbourhood. When you have a woman, that is when life is good. Patelo is always solid,” Patelo said.

Patelo’s message to haters

Earlier on Thursday, July 31, 2025, the Arbantone artiste came out swinging against a growing wave of online critics who, he says, have begun showing him unprovoked hatred following the viral success of his recent wedding celebrations.

In a fiery statement shared on his fast-growing TikTok account, Patelo addressed what he described as misplaced blame and bitterness directed at him and his wife, warning that their continued rise would not stop because of baseless resentment.

He expressed frustration with individuals who, instead of celebrating with them, had chosen to spread negativity and discredit their joy.

“Blame us if you must, but you will keep watching us elevate. You will strain your eyes looking at what we are posting and listening to what is in our DMs, and you will feel bad, but keep blaming us,” he said, making it clear that he had no time for those who felt irritated by their social media posts or private messages.

The popular content creator emphasised that he owed no one an apology or explanation, saying he did not come online to appease anyone.

“We are not here to beg you. Maybe we can only plead with God, not you,” he added, taking a spiritual tone amid the bold rebuttal.

In a parting shot to those planning to respond or argue with him online, he said he cannot tire from countering them, saying they should even ask him to pay for their food so they can get more energy to bash him.

“Anyone who wants to reply, go ahead and reply, and then go to sleep. If you are tired of talking, tell us so we can buy you food to boost your energy for more talking.”
