Vera Sidika in New York for breast surgery
Socialite and entrepreneur Vera Sidika has revealed that she is in New York to undergo breast surgery, openly sharing her decision with her followers.
In her Instagram Stories on Thursday, September 18, 2025, Vera explained that she has been planning the procedure for years but had to postpone it in 2022 due to her pregnancy.

“In New York for a boob job. Getting breast surgery, sweethearts. We officially say bye to the fallen soldiers. I have been planning to do this for years. But in 2022, my son’s pregnancy paused it,” she said.

The mother of two noted that despite her breasts appearing “okay”, motherhood and breastfeeding had taken a toll on her body.
“My boobs might look okay, but they really aren’t; motherhood isn’t easy. After breastfeeding two kids back-to-back who are one year apart, they are never the same,” Vera said.
Further, she encouraged women not to feel ashamed about choosing cosmetic procedures, urging them to prioritize self-love and make informed decisions.
“Ladies, there is no shame in loving yourself so much that you want to invest and look better for you. If you can, go ahead and do it. Let nobody shame you, baby girl. Just make sure you do a lot of research so you do it the right way,” she added.
Facelift
This comes almost a year after Sidika underwent cosmetic surgery in Manchester, United Kingdom (UK), to achieve a perfect jawline.
In a series of Instagram Stories on October 29, 2024, the socialite detailed her beauty transformation journey, revealing that the procedure took two hours.
“So you guys keep asking Kwani Vera ako na sura ngapi. Every day, a different face. Guess what? I’m here for a new face. Niko na sura 35,” she said.
Hours later, Vera showed off her transformed face with no makeup at all.
“I look amazing,” she said.
Skin lightning
Similarly, speaking during an interview on NTV with Larry Madowo on June 6, 2014, Vera Sidika openly talked about a skin-lightening procedure that she had just undergone.
“Looking good is my business. My body is my business, nobody else’s but mine,” Vera said at the time.
The socialite further disclosed that she underwent the skin-lightening procedure in the UK and suggested it cost somewhere in the region of Ksh15 million.
Vera claimed she had seen an increase in demand for her services after the bleaching procedure.
