She joked that she is now a “bee keeper” because of how swollen her lips look, adding that people should not be surprised when they see her out in public. The mother of two said she is wearing a mask most of the time, but wanted to unveil the new look herself before others begin speculating.
“By the way, ukiniona out, the reason I am doing this is because I am hosting from Wednesday to Sunday, every single day. Mkiniona out msiniulize nini mbaya na lips, I am a beekeeper now. Yooo, I sell honey, here is the proof,” Vera said on Wednesday, October 10, 2025.
Weeks after breast surgery
The revelation comes weeks after Vera Sidika confirmed that she had undergone breast surgery. The socialite, who has been open about her cosmetic procedures in the past, had taken a short break from social media after the operation.

She noted that since she will be hosting several events from Wednesday to Sunday, people should not question her about her lips when they see her in public. Vera also made light of the situation, saying that she knows pictures of her new look will likely surface online, but she wanted to address it directly to avoid unnecessary speculation.
“Sema kutoka Miami na lips, yeah, I just got lip fillers, if you see me outside, don’t ask what is wrong with my lips. I know people are going to take pictures and they will start trending so nimekuja kujishtaki mwenyewe. So yeah, I got lip fillers; they are temporary, but they are swollen. I have always had plump lips, but I just wanted to shape them a little,” she added.
Despite facing mixed reactions in the past over her cosmetic choices, Vera continues to be open about her beauty procedures and lifestyle decisions. She said the fillers are not permanent and that once the swelling goes down, her lips will look more natural.
