Karangu Muraya’s first wife, Triza Njeri, took herself on a well-deserved escape to Mombasa on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, and treated her fans to glimpses of how fully she was savouring life along the golden coastal beaches.

Triza, who has been trending for days after an audio of Karangu and Tata Essay gossiping about her went viral, went live from the beach, confidently flaunting her swimming costumes while showing off what her head looks like without a church turban.

However, during the live session, a fan commented, suggesting that she was outdated and insinuating that her challenges stemmed from a lack of exposure.

Triza responded sharply, questioning whether a visit to Mombasa could ever serve as a legitimate yardstick to brand someone outdated.

“People are even scrutinising how I am dressed, and I am genuinely astonished; what were you expecting from me while I was here? They claim that being a country bumpkin is something negative. If visiting Mombasa transforms me into a country bumpkin, then let me embrace it fully,” she said.

Triza further noted that she would not be shaken by such remarks, adding that if touring Mombasa earned her a primitive label, she was perfectly comfortable wearing it.

She also urged all naysayers who had been flinging these comments to continue at their own pace, insisting that they would eventually be the ones to retreat.

“Truly, if visiting here makes me a country bumpkin, write it again and again; let it be known that I am a country bumpkin. As I lounge on the beach, I am amazed at how fans perceive me. Let me pour myself some juice and sip it slowly while I watch how you call me a country bumpkin,” she added.

Meanwhile, some fans expressed jealousy at how smoothly life seemed to be flowing for her.

Responding to them, Triza said that is their personal problem, emphasising that she was unconcerned about how others felt regarding her life.

She added that her attention remained fully on building her life and pouring energy into things that truly mattered.

“Let anyone who harbours envy continue to nurse it, and if it is their burden, it is not mine. Here in Mombasa, life is embracing me generously,” she said.

Further, Triza invited her fans who were in Mombasa and wished to catch up with her to look out for her along the beaches.

She said she would welcome some extra company and praised the vibrant Mombasa weather that was enhancing her escape.

“Anyone who wants to join me is most welcome. I am here on the Mombasa beach soaking in every moment. The breeze is perfect, and with my sunglasses on, I cannot even see your comments, guys,” she added, exuding joy.
