South African rapper Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo, alias Nasty C has explained why he cannot work with Kenyan rapper Brian Ouko, popularly known as Khaligraph Jones.

Speaking to journalists after landing in Kenya, the rapper said he cannot work on a project with him, simply because their styles don’t match.

“Yeah I’ve heard of him. I don’t think our styles match… Just because we’re both rappers it doesn’t necessarily mean that our styles match,” said Nasty C.

However, Nasty C disclosed that he will be working on a song with sensational singer Xenia Mannaseh, adding that he interacted with her during her trip to South Africa.

This came barely a week after Khaligraph took a swipe at Nasty C and fellow rapper Casper Nyovest.

Responding to a comment on his Instagram post, the rapper said he won’t beg for a collaboration from either of the aforementioned rappers, arguing that it’s high time for international acts to approach him for collaborations.

Hao wafike huku juu (Kenya) waongee na OG (They should come to Kenya and ask for collaborations). We are no longer kissing a** bro,” Khaligraph said.

Nasty C made headlines in March this year after dissing American rapper, Eminem, arguing that he can rap better than him because his music is not relatable.

“I tell you what, I could actually spank Eminen. The reason why I say this is because recently Eminem is not really relatable, he is dope, his bars are out of this world but he is not relatable. “If you are a rapper you go crazy over it, if you are a normal person you get to the end of the verse and ask, ‘what did he just say,” said Nasty C.

His statement sparked outrage online forcing him to apologise.

“Dear Eminem. I love you. If you see the video going around don’t pay no mind to it. Just laugh about it and move on,” he wrote.
