In recent snaps shared by former Machachari actress Stella born Natasha Ngegie, the thespian stripped half-naked and attached a beautiful inspirational message to cancer patients.

The act is often to remind people especially women to check their breasts. This is one of the breast cancer self-examination techniques.

In the caption, she also revealed she has suffered two losses of her loved ones to other types of cancer.

This message is for those who have lost and those still battling breast cancer. I’ve lost two of my dearest family members to other types of cancers. The pain and mental hold it takes on you is unbearable.

Being Cancer Awareness MONTH I want you to take some time to appreciate the memories you’ve had with your loved ones. See them for the warriors they are and appreciate them for going through such difficult and painful journeys,” she wrote.

Adding:

For those battling cancer, I want you to know that you are appreciated, supported and loved. So every day you feel like giving up remind yourself that you are not a disease… Fight like there is no tomorrow, laugh like it’s your last and love like it’s your first time. YOU CAN DO THIS! With love❤️.”

Breast cancer can occur in women and rarely in men and according to World Health Organization(WHO) every year, breast cancer kills more than 500,000 women around the world.

Some of the symptoms of breast cancer include a lump in the breast, bloody discharge from the nipple and changes in the shape or texture of the nipple or breast.
