From the outlook, Carter loves fashion, and at times she has had to deal with criticism, with some saying she is an unprofessional coach in how she dresses.

“I literally post every [game day] outfit. I just think that people are uncomfortable with a black woman being in a power position.

“When you see a black woman who is actually confident and embracing herself, I think that’s very intimidating,” she said in a previous interview, defending herself against criticism.

In the fashion industry in the US, she has become a recognizable figure and was one of the invitees during the New York Fashion Week by the Veronica Beard brand in February last year.

“This season, the collection is centered around modern women and how they dress today, combining classic all-American tailoring with the evolution of suiting. The collection plays with notions of prep and collegiate,” Carter posted during the Fashion Week event, just a testament to how deep she is in love with appearance and style.
