Size 8: Hooded men were around my bed humming the day I got saved
Gospel singer and pastor Size 8 has revealed a dramatic spiritual experience that she says took place on the night she gave her life to Christ.
In an interview with a local YouTube channel on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, the artiste recalled waking up to find hooded figures surrounding her bed, humming in low tones.

“When I got born again that night, hooded men were around my bed, and they were humming, ‘uuuumh ummmh umhh,’” she narrated.
Size 8 said fear gripped her until she called on the name of Jesus. According to her, a calming voice responded immediately.
“I woke up and said, ‘Jesus,’ and I heard a voice like I’m talking to you, ‘My daughter, go back to sleep; I am taking care of it.’ I slept, and when I woke up, they were gone,” she explained.
Spiritual husbands
Furthermore, the singer also revealed that she had long struggled with nightmares and what she described as “spiritual husbands”, adding that such torment is common for those who come from families with a history of witchcraft.
“When you come from a background of witchcraft, one thing that torments you is fear. I used to close my eyes, and it was just nightmares, nightmares. You dream of a man having sex with you at night, always. That is what I battled with before salvation,” she said.
This comes two years after Size 8 revealed why she insists on couples praying before engaging in sex.
The preacher, through an interview with a local news outlet on July 10, 2023, addressed this topic, saying intimacy is spiritual, which is why God should be involved before the act.
According to Size 8, the prayer should be personal and from the heart, creating an environment the devil cannot interfere with.
