Shorn Arwa elated after Otile Brown featured her in his upcoming music video

Kenyan influencer and content creator Shorn Arwa has expressed her excitement after being featured in Otile Brown’s upcoming music video.
In a statement shared on her Instagram stories on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, Shorn could not hide her joy as she praised the celebrated musician.
“So @otilebrown is the baddest! Did he just say, Anytime I’m looking for love, I know where to find him,” she stated.
The announcement comes only days after Shorn opened up about how much she enjoys being in the spotlight and how fame has positively shaped her life. She made it clear that she embraces attention and the conversations that come with it.
“There are some celebrities who would come out and say something like, I wish I wasn’t a celebrity, but not me,” she said.
Adding;
“The limelight has changed my life. Talk about me, lie even. As long as you are talking about me, let go.”

“When they ask you, do you know Shorn? My sister talks. Because of the things that the limelight has done for me, please talk. Make me as relevant,” she emphasised.
Shorn has also been vocal about the challenges of navigating online spaces. Just recently, she expressed her frustration with the overwhelming amount of advice circulating on TikTok.
In a video shared on Saturday, August 23, 2025, she said she had grown weary of the constant scrutiny and contradictory opinions offered by self-proclaimed experts on the platform.
“I am just so tired of TikTok advice. I want to live my life on my own terms. Somebody said I have a problem with forgiving people because I have unrealistic expectations that I want to be met,” she said.
On the other hand, others have accused her of being too quick to forgive, claiming it makes her look like a people pleaser.
“Another one said I am easily forgiving because I do not have boundaries, and that makes me a people pleaser. What do you want me to do? It feels like there is always going to be a problem with everything I do,” she added.
According to Shorn, forgiving people makes her look weak while cutting them off makes her appear unreasonable, leaving her stuck in an endless cycle of judgment.
“If I forgive, I am a people pleaser. If I cut people off, I have unrealistic expectations. What do you want me to do? In fact, burn all this TikTok, I am tired,” she said.
