Kenyan content creator Sherlyne Anyango has announced her pregnancy, a year after her wedding to her ‘mzungu bae’ was called off.
Known for her vibrant presence on social media and her energetic gym routines, on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Sherlyne shared the news with her fans through adorable baby bump photos.
“Our little miracle is on the way. I dreamed for you. I prayed for you. I manifested you.
Thank you for entering my womb and making me realise how blessed I am!” she captioned the baby bump photos as she cradled her baby bump in a caramel off-shoulder dress that stylishly showcased her growing belly.
The dress, with its high cut, also offered a peek at her legs.
The news comes as a surprise to many, as Sherlyne had been posting regular gym videos and maintaining her active lifestyle without showing obvious signs of pregnancy.
The latest follows a year after the curvaceous queen of fitness disclosed that her wedding plans were halted when her ‘mzungu lover’s’ family raised concerns after researching her online.
The California-based socialite is famed for her participation in Club Covid and her highly publicised past relationship with former Kiss FM presenter Oga Obinna.
Cancelled wedding
In June 2023, the video vixen opened up about what led to the breakdown of her engagement to her American fiancé. She shared that things took a turn for the worse after his family searched her online and uncovered some troubling details from her past.
According to her, once the fiancé’s family found this information, they were unwilling to let him marry her due to the ‘red flags’ they discovered.
Reflecting on the situation, Sherlyne expressed regret for not heeding her family’s earlier warnings about the online videos she had posted.
“The main thing that got me to say was that there was one point I was going to get married. The family decided to google my name, and everything was about Xtian Dela and all the things I used to do as a 19-year-old. The Mzungu guy liked me a lot, but the family was like, ‘This is a red flag’, and advised their son not to marry me,” Sherlyne narrated during the interview.
Adding;
“I didn’t listen to them. I wish I hadn’t posted those nude videos. I wish I had kept it all private.”
However, despite such skeletons in her closet, she made it known that her only regret was that she was too young to understand her actions would one day cost her.
“By me regretting, it doesn’t mean that I’m not ok right now. I’m very ok. Maisha haijanipiga. Now that my brain thinks differently, like nimeoutgrow vitu nilikuwa nafanya,” she went on.
