Otile Brown debuts bold new look with cornrows and grills

Kenyan R&B star Otile Brown has debuted a bold new look featuring neatly done cornrows and flashy green grills on his teeth.
In a video shared on his Instagram page on Sunday, August 3, 2025, the singer was seen inside his car alongside entertainer and outspoken supporter, Cassypool. The two appeared in high spirits as Otile flaunted his new dental accessory, catching the attention of fans online.
“Otile Brown is the unbeatable number one artiste of East and Central Africa, then number two ni Diamond Platnumz,” Cassypool declared in the video.

Otile and Bien feud
This bold look comes just days after Otile Brown and fellow artiste Bien were embroiled in a bitter online feud. The drama began after Otile’s manager, Mumbi Maina, unexpectedly resigned on Monday, July 28. Soon after, Bien shared a clip of his song Wahala on Instagram, including the lyrics “All my enemies are suffering.”
Otile fired back with a scathing response, accusing Bien of being fake and always seeking attention.
“That person just had to comment. Always talking. This wannabe international guy thinks he made it off a little Kenyan favour that landed in his lap. Over what songs? Those TikTok challenges that last only two weeks?” Otile said.
He went on to caution Bien, warning him that fame can disappear just as quickly as it comes.
“You cannot win on grace alone. Always wants to be seen, always has something to say on every blog post. You know I can snatch that spot any time, right? It only takes one right move from me and one wrong move from you. This is Kenya, and you know your people well.”
The Jeraha hitmaker didn’t hold back when it came to Bien’s appearance either.
“I am not a hater. You are doing well, but try and look the part. Moisturise those lips that cannot go a minute without moving. Dress properly and stop carrying local accessories like those cheap village earrings. There is no authenticity there,” he continued.
Adding;
“You call yourself international, but I repeat, you can never beat me. Even if you win a Grammy, I do not recognise you. Too much bluff. Enjoy it while it lasts. This is the reason I do not respect that guy. He is the biggest hypocrite.”
Cassypool, who has been a vocal supporter of Otile, aimed at Bien, criticising his behaviour and attitude during the feud. Speaking to a local YouTuber on Friday, August 1, 2025, he accused Bien of acting with pride and arrogance, stating that the Sauti Sol singer was no match for Otile.
“Number two, kiburi alipandisha juzi, kuvuruga na Otile Brown, mtu ambaye amemshinda na hitmaker,” he said.
Adding;
“Otile Brown ni msanii number moja kwenye East and Central Africa. Yule paka wenu mnamsifia kuwa simba wenu, hafikii, ni mtoto kwa Otile.”
He added that Bien’s actions proved he had an inflated sense of importance that didn’t reflect his actual standing in the music scene.
“Bien’s behaviour shows arrogance. He thinks too highly of himself. Even his fans don’t realise they’re backing someone who doesn’t come close to Otile’s level.”
