Newly engaged Esther Musila has come out to speak on her fiancé Guardian Angel noting that no other man can match him.
Speaking on Spice FM, Esther said not even an older man would fit her fiancé position in her life.
“If I had met a 55-year-old man, maybe, he would never match Guardian. He would never fit Guardian’s shoe,” Esther stated.
She further stated very particularly that when she met the gospel artist, she was not looking for love or a relationship but a month into their ‘taking stage’ the love birds were already crazy in love.
“When I met Guardian, I was not looking for love, I was not looking to be in a relationship. How things started to change, I only say it’s God. When I was turning 50 last year I said to God, ‘I want to do things differently in my life and he has given me more than I asked for,” Esther noted.
Musila who feels the African culture has not yet fully embraced such unions concluded by saying she will always protect her happiness and also ‘age is just but a number.’
“I know the African culture doesn’t allow that. I am an African but I believe in doing my things for me,” she added.
Esther, 51 made news after her engagement to 32-year-old Guardian on Tuesday, May, 25 spark heated discussions among online users majorly because of their age gap.
Rumours of the two being a pair went viral in November 2020 and faced a lot of criticism majorly because of their age difference.
At one point the gospel artist denied dating Esther but as time went by, their love blossomed to a level they could not hide anymore, and the two have become one of the most celebrated couples in town.
