Kenyan comedian Mulamwah has disclosed that he successfully saved Ksh1.1 million in 2024 through a disciplined daily savings challenge.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, December 16, 2024, the comedian shared his achievement with his followers, challenging his followers to do the same next year.

The Milele FM presenter explained that he started the savings challenge on December 15, 2023, consistently setting aside Ksh3,000 daily. The strategy, he said, was to save small amounts regularly, which ultimately grew into a substantial sum by the end of the year.

“God is great – Ksh3,000 per day savings challenge completed for 2024. Started 15th Dec last year, kuweka pole pole tu. Umeweka ngapi? Kama hujaweka, tuanze wote for next year,” he wrote in his post.

The comedian encouraged his followers to adopt similar savings habits, noting that the specific amount saved daily doesn’t matter as long as one remains consistent.

Hailjalishi ni how much, ata 20, 50, 100, 1k per day is ok. Try to save cash because it will always save you back,” he advised.

Mulamwah revealed that his next plan is to invest in real estate.

Wacha tuongeze kaploti sasa ,” he added, hinting at his intention to use the saved funds to acquire property.

He also called on those who joined him in the savings challenge to break their savings boxes and assess their progress.

Wale tulianza pamoja last year, saving boxes tuvunje lini? Ikiwa wewe mita, utafanyia?” he asked.

Mulamwah’s house

Mulamwah has been making big strides financially since 2023. Besides acquiring a new car, he recently gave fans a glimpse of his soon-to-be-completed mansion.

In an Instagram update shared on Friday, November 15, 2024, Mulamwah expressed pride in the progress of his home construction while offering words of encouragement to his followers. He urged them to remain patient and focus on their personal goals without succumbing to the pressure of timelines.

“Maskan inakuja pole pole tu, kumaliza ndio joto lakini almost done, nyumba inaongea kizugu sasa. Pace ni pole pole tu, let no one pressure you. Move slow, move correctly,” he shared.

Mulamwah also took a moment to commend Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones for his impressive achievement of completing a luxurious mansion after years of hard work.

“Proud of Khaligraph Jones, kitu umefanya aint easy to achieve. To anyone else out there, it’s all possible – baraka tele, Mungu mbele,” he added.
