Kenyan comedian Kendrick Mulamwah recently took his taste buds on an adventure as he adjusts to Chinese cuisine.
The content creator sampled the local frog delicacy in Chongqing, China.
In a video shared on his Instagram page on Saturday, September 28, 2024, Mulamwah looked anything but comfortable at first.
The comedian was visibly hesitant as he examined the soupy frog dish with the kind of intensity you’d expect from someone about to make a life-altering decision.
After a few moments of nervously scanning the dish, Mulamwah finally took the plunge making funny faces while at it. The funny man cautiously took a bite, and, to everyone’s surprise, he started to relax and even seemed to enjoy the experience after several bites.
“Finally tried frog delicacy in Chongqing China. Travelling is all about exploring new ventures, and new cultures and experiencing new foods and recipes. For the first time, I tried this frog delicacy; at first, I was scared but took a bite 😋would you try it?” Mulamwah shared.

Mulamwah is part of a group that includes popular TikTok sensation Moya David and social media influencer Benawamalines that are in China for a fully funded trip.
The content creators were selected as winners on Friday, September 28, 2024, among applicants who responded to a call from the Chinese embassy in Kenya earlier this month for an opportunity to explore new cultures.
