After months of delays and postponing, today gospel singer Mr Seed officially held his long-awaited ‘Black Child’ album listening party.

The event held at Pride Inn Centre in Westlands was an epic affair with a slew of stars among them Eric Omondi gathering to fellowship and vibe to the soon-to-be album of the moment.

While addressing the guests, Eric termed Mr Seed as the only remaining gospel artist disregarding fallen ‘giants’ Bahati and Ringtone.

“Mr Seed is the only male gospel artist remaining. Ringtone ni wife material na Bahati ni wash wash,” he claimed.

He further promised to reward Mr Seed with Ksh1 million which will be recorded for proof at a later date.

Also in attendance was Mr. Seed wife Nimu to control the rumours that the pair had fallen off.

The album comes shortly after he dropped a song featuring Kate Actress who made her debut in the music industry.

Bahati lauded the new album with a post on his page and congratulated him noting he is happy when he prospers.

“I’m happy when my brothers prosper; I’m happy for Mr Seed as he launches his new album ‘Black Child’  Winning is your portion in Jesus Name.#Brosforlife,” he wrote.

Bahati opined that the gospel industry is infested with artists who do not believe in what they preach through their music.
