Mbosso excited to tour Eldoret after 4-year break

Tanzanian artiste Mbosso has expressed his excitement about returning to Eldoret for a major performance, marking his first show in the town since 2021.

Speaking on Saturday, September 20, 2025, the ‘Pawa’ hitmaker revealed that his journey to Eldoret has been long and exhausting, having travelled from Dar es Salaam to Uganda, where he performed before heading straight to Nairobi.

He explained that after a brief two-hour rest upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, he and his team checked into a room at the airport before making plans to head to Eldoret.

“I have arrived here and I thank God for the long journey that has brought me to this point. I travelled from Dar es Salaam yesterday and went to Uganda, where I performed. After finishing my performance there, I rested for about two hours before heading to the airport, and that is how I arrived here in Kenya at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. We had to take a room at the airport to get some rest, and now we are on our way to Eldoret,” Mbosso said.

The celebrated singer admitted that despite the fatigue of his travels, he remains energised and fully prepared to give an electrifying performance to his Kenyan fans.

He emphasised that the Eldoret show will be a memorable one, adding that he has lined up around 50 songs to perform, including some of his latest hits.

“I am tired, but I still have the energy to perform there. The Eldoret show will be amazing because I have prepared very well. I have not been to Eldoret for quite a long time,” Mbosso added.

Mbosso noted that the last time he was in Eldoret was in 2021 after a tour stop in Lodwar.

He expressed excitement at reconnecting with his fans in the town, promising an unforgettable show.

The artiste, who released his chart-topping album ‘Room Number 3’, also assured his supporters that the Eldoret concert will showcase not only his older classics but also his newest music, reflecting his growth and consistency in the East African music scene.

“The last time was in 2021 after a stop in Lodwar. I am excited to reunite with my fans because this time I have so many songs that I have released. I will perform about 50 songs, so I hope my fans will have the same energy, because I certainly do.”
