Kishash hitmaker Lil Maina mourns his grandfather in emotional tribute
Kenyan rapper and musician Jeremy Maina alias Lil Maina is mourning the sudden death of his grandfather.
The ‘Kishash’ hitmaker paid an emotional tribute to his grandfather in a heartbreaking post shared via his official Instagram page.
He eulogised his grandfather as the person who shaped him into who he is today.
Maina noted that his departed grandfather who contributed to his fame was the best grandfather and life will never be the same without him.
“Idk what to say babu, I will always have you in my heart. It is not the same without you, it will never be. The best grandfather to me and to everyone. I will miss you so much. Thank you for making me who I am today,
“Thank you for the support, thank you for raising me. I love you babu . Till we meet again. I never wanted to post anything about this, but I thought it would be good for you guys to know,” he wrote.
Maina became a sensation after a video of him vigorously dancing to a Jamaican song in front of his grandmother who seemed unperturbed emerged on TikTok.
The videos gained wide traction across social media platforms.
