Kwambox clarifies her sexuality, says she is fluid
Former radio host and reality TV star Sheila Kwamboka, popularly known as Kwambox, has finally addressed long-standing speculations surrounding her sexuality.
In a candid conversation during a podcast interview aired on Monday, July 14, 2025, she affirmed that she is sexually fluid — a revelation that, according to her, should come as no surprise to those who have followed her journey over the years.

Kwambox stated that her stance on sexual fluidity was made public as far back as 2010 during her time on the Big Brother reality show.
She dismissed recent backlash and confusion over her identity, pointing out that the misunderstanding largely comes from newer fans and followers, especially from the Gen Z generation, who are unaware of her earlier disclosures.
She explained that those who have been with her since her Big Brother days have always known about her orientation, emphasising that she has never concealed any part of her identity.
“I think this is a Gen Z thing; it’s Gen Zs who do not know me. I am in my third stage of fans; the OGs know the answer to this. It’s one of the most publicised things when I was in Big Brother, which was my sexuality, and I was very clear I am fluid. It has never been a secret because many times I talked about it, but I think of late, people try to use it against me, but if I am being honest, that is none of my business,” Kwambox on Iko Nini Podcast.
Her recent relationships
Speaking on her relationship history, she revealed that her past four relationships have been with men, which she referred to as a form of balance in her life.
“My past 4 relationships have been with guys; it has been a nice balance,” she added.
Kwambox made it clear that she lives unapologetically and on her own terms, not seeking validation or approval from anyone. She affirmed that her choices reflect her truth and that she embraces her identity fully.
“It’s something that I spoke about, and I was very clear. I am who I am. I don’t live for anyone. I am very true to who I am. What I like is what I like,” she added.
