Koku Lwanga says Daddie Marto moved out without informing her in hard-hitting response

Koku Lwanga, the wife of actor and content creator Daddie Marto, has come out to share her side of the story following Marto’s recent public claims that he is still paying off a loan he took to build a house for her mother.
In a detailed post shared on her Instagram stories on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, Koku said she has seen everything that has been said and is now ready to respond. She began by addressing the state of their relationship at the time of their separation, saying that Marto had moved out without informing her.
“Yes, by the time the fiasco was happening, you had already moved into a separate place. However, it was to create space between us as we figured out and worked on ourselves to reconvene three months later and assess the situation,” she wrote.
According to Koku, she was blindsided by Marto’s actions.
“I left work in the morning and came back in the evening to find you had packed out. You left behind your clothes and took the office bed, shooting gadgets, and unfortunately, as I found out later, the children’s documentation, which you have still refused to share with me to date.”
Koku also claimed that a friend of hers confronted Marto about the way he moved out, and although he admitted it might have been unfair, he didn’t try to explain further.
Daddie Marto’s statement
Daddie Marto had earlier claimed he took a loan for his ex-wife’s mother’s house on an Instagram post on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
The online exchange was triggered by a post Daddie Marto shared on his social platforms, where he claimed he is still repaying a loan taken to build a house for his ex-wife’s mother.
“I took a loan to build a house for her mum. Years later, I’m still paying it back,” he said in a video clip that sparked mixed reactions online.
The couple, once admired for their content and family moments, has been going through a very public separation in recent months, with each now offering their version of how things unfolded behind the scenes.
