Rapper King Kaka has reached out to those battling the challenges of caring for sick loved ones, dedicating a heartfelt track in their honour.

In a video shared on Instagram on Saturday, October 25, 2025, King Kaka teased the new track, reflecting on the pain he and his own family endured during his recent illness.

Also Watch: “Let’s be mindful and respectful,” King Kaka responds to rumours of his separation with Nana Owiti

He sings at length about the physical and emotional toll of sickness, describing moments of weakness, fear, and uncertainty, and the difficulty of maintaining hope while under medical care.

“Hallelujah. Nilikuwa nyuma ya SUV napelekwa hospi, kwani kifo na mgonjwa haijui mimi ni mdosi. Nguvu inanipotea hata kusema amina,” King Kaka raps.

The rapper further laments the isolation and frustration that often come with illness, noting how even simple routines and prayers sometimes feel insufficient to provide comfort.

He highlights the emotional weight of feeling powerless, as well as the small acts of kindness that can make a difference in difficult times.

“Daktari anasema niwe na stamina ka Roma. Yuko wapi Loliondo na vikombe when you need one? Mchafu kwa mafikra, hata kama I was a neat one. Na nikikutupa, haunitupi kwa temple,” King Kaka further sings.

The rapper then highlights the sense of gratitude he carries, acknowledging that despite the challenges, he remains favoured and blessed with what his mother gave him.

He admits that at times he has faced strains, yet he continues to forgive and persevere through the difficulties, emphasising the resilience required to overcome personal struggles.

“We unajua ile kunyora kwa upepo kwa room yangu, hospi, maombi inagongaukuta. Na niko favoured, hakuna kitu mama alikupa. Sometimes anakuwanga out of pocket, yes naforgive but nastruggle.”

While captioning the video, King Kaka extended the track’s message directly to his followers, wishing that healing, comfort, and strength find those who are battling alongside sick loved ones.

“To anyone who has a sick friend / family member . May healing locate you,” he wrote.

Raila tribute

King Kaka also recently paid tribute to the late Raila Amolo Odinga, releasing the song “Huu Wimbo Ni Wako Baba” on Thursday, October 16, 2025.

The rapper sings about Raila’s lifelong dedication to democracy, his sacrifices, and the trials he endured, including imprisonment, torture, and political rejection, while remaining steadfast in his principles.

Huu wimbo ni wako Baba natarajia uko salama, nakumbuka ulivyokazana na sura yako itakumbuka. Baba democracy yaani umefuata nyayo,” King Kaka sings.

He also expresses disbelief and sorrow over the loss of a leader whose life symbolised hope, unity, and resilience for Kenya.

King Kaka recounts how Raila’s political wisdom helped calm the nation in times of division, bridging gaps between government and opposition, and inspiring dialogue and understanding.

Hii nayo imeniuma baba imeniuma nayo. The number of torture baba sijataja nayo. The last fight in us Baba umeenda nayo. Jowi jowi, what have you done,” he sings.
