11 years strong: King Kaka celebrates wife Nana Owiti

Kenyan rapper Robert Ombima alias King Kaka and his wife Nana Owiti are celebrating 11 years of marriage.

The couple who share two children made it work and stood the test of sickness and time and King Kaka couldn’t be happier.

In his message on this day, the artiste showered Nana with praises for holding him down and defining what love really entails.

“Today marks 11years with this beautiful person of mine. Our anniversary. Thank you for all the lessons, thanks for holding me down, and thanks for creating room for conversations and words that can’t describe you. Thanks for defining what love is.

“We have many more years to come. We keep thanking God for this union. Nakupenda and asante best friend and wife @nanaowiti Hadi tukunje mgongo,” he wrote on social media.

King Kaka and Nana’s anniversary follows a tumultuous time in their marriage when the rapper battled a life-threatening illness.

During this time he said, Nana stood by him and in his message of gratitude, he paid her an amazing tribute saying;

“Let me count my blessings. The last three months have been nothing short but terrifying, this lady here Nana Owiti has shown and proven what a wife and a best friend is,” he wrote.

King Kaka said he discovered a new meaning of ‘a partner in a relationship’ and wished her nothing but God’s blessings.

“I am currently walking on that road to recovery but I pray that God guides you and grants you all your hearts’ wishes & Desires. Just leant the new meaning of the word ‘Partner’ in a relationship. Be blessed and Asante Nana,” he added.

Congrats to these two on 11 years of marriage!
