Kikuyu singer who received money from Betty Bayo day before her death speaks

Kikuyu gospel singer Njoki Wa Ndegwa, popularly known as Komanda, has revealed that Betty Bayo sent her money just a day before she passed away.
In a Facebook post on Monday, November 10, 2025, the same day Betty died, Njoki said the ‘Busy Busy’ hitmaker’s death had touched her deeply, adding that the fact that she had sent her money made it hard for her to believe the news of her death.
She confirmed that the songstress had shared the money at exactly 3:47 pm.
“Guys, this was just yesterday at 3:47 pm. Baayo, why?” she posted, adding heartbreak and crying emojis.
Njoki also shared a screenshot of the M-Pesa transaction, where Betty’s name, Beatrice Mbugua, can be clearly seen in capital letters as the sender.
The screenshot does not reveal the amount sent, as Njoki concealed it for privacy purposes.

Fans then flooded her post with messages recalling how Betty had supported her music and acting career.
