TV personality Wangeci wa Kariuki has welcomed a new baby girl a day after her mother in law’s burial.
On Friday, July 16, Wangeci shared the happy news of the arrival of his child on Facebook, posting a photo of her baby’s hand.
She revealed that her daughter Florence Wambui was her mother’s wish before she passed away and God granted her wish.
“And just a day after we buried our loving mum, God has just granted her wish and a new beautiful baby girl is born. Florence Wambui Mbatia is reborn. And as she would tell me..Kai Ngai atangiteithia ujiare(My wish is that may God bless you with a baby girl to name her after me and yes her prayers were granted .ii Kai Ngai wi mwegai. (Oh Lord you are great)
My friends help me together with my family to thank God for a miracle, He has indeed wiped our tears,” she wrote.
She is also a mother of three others, two boys and a girl.
Wangeci who is currently on maternity leave is a breakfast host at Kameme TV show Ríkíratha.
She has since been replaced by Tv-queen-nonsizi-agnes for the next three months.
“It is an honour and my pleasure to stand in for Wangechi for Ríkíratha on KamemeTV. My TV journey began here and it feels good to be back. Join us, Kihumo, and me every morning from 6 am to 10 am for engaging conversations on various topics,” she shared.
The mother of one first worked with Kameme TV in 2016 as a host for a reggae show ‘Cia Reggae’ before moving to a local TV station.
“Thank you Kameme TV Management for believing in me to steer Cia Reggae. I will be forever grateful. Thanks, team, and crew for your continued support and for making my last show amazing. I have learnt, grown, and most importantly made friends. To the fans, my love for you is real, thanks for the support. I will miss you all dearly. On to the next!” she wrote.
