Gospel singer Size 8 is opening up bout her underlying health condition she has been dealing with for the last seven years.

The mother of two while speaking on her YouTube channel disclosed she has battled blood pressure since January 2015 and was almost giving up.

Since 2015 January I have had health issues and I never shared that side of my life. I remember I once collapsed in town and I was told my pressure was too high.

“I have been on medication for a long time and I have been in and out of the hospital. This time it was serious as I was slipping into depression and I was almost giving up. I was tired of fighting and that is partly why I stopped putting up posts on social media,” she told her husband DJ Mo.

According to her, she says God has kept her going through her husband despite being continually frustrated.

“Were it not for God I would have given up completely…I was not okay physically and my heart was also giving up the fight. DJ Mo really encouraged me and he was tough on me…I really thank him for that,” she added.

This comes barely a month after she left her fans in a panic mood following her viral video where she is seen in a wheelchair before hurriedly being taken to the hospital.

After the video, several concerns were raised over the upcoming new trend of celebrities faking sickness to advertise health facilities.

While she did not directly respond to the claim, Size 8 said her sudden rush to the hospital is due to her ongoing battle with blood pressure making it clear it wasn’t an act.
