Size 8 explains why wife’s role should not be limited to basic house chores

Gospel singer Size 8 has shared a strong message about the role of a wife, saying it goes far beyond household duties.
The gospel artist explained that marriage carries a deeper spiritual meaning and purpose that many people may not fully understand in an Instagram post on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
Size 8 said a wife should not be limited to taking care of basic home responsibilities. She emphasised that the role is more meaningful and involves supporting a husband in his purpose and destiny as guided by faith.
“A wife is a helper to her husband, but not just to make sure HE feeds and that he has clean clothes…. NO!” Size 8 said.
She went on to explain that the calling of a wife is greater than daily chores and involves spiritual understanding and guidance. According to her, this role requires wisdom and a deeper connection to faith.
Calling beyond duties
“The calling of God to be a wife is much greater than that… A wife is a HELPER, one who stands by Her Husband to help Him become all that God has purposed for him…. This is a huge calling from God…” Size 8 explained.
The gospel artist further stated that this responsibility cannot be handled through personal strength alone. She stressed the importance of seeking spiritual help in order to fully understand and carry out the role effectively.
“NO MATTER HOW WISE YOU THINK YOU ARE, YOU CANNOT FULLFIL THIS GOD-GIVEN MANDATE ALONE!” Size 8 said.
The gospel minister also highlighted the importance of the Holy Spirit in guiding a wife in marriage. According to her, spiritual guidance is necessary to understand a husband’s purpose, strengths, and weaknesses.
“You must seek the HELP of the HOLY SPIRIT! For ONLY THE HOLY SPIRIT knows the mind of God concerning your husband’s destiny, His purpose, his strengths, His weakness and the best wisdom to use to handle him and stand by Him as you help him fulfil purpose!” Size 8 said.
She concluded by saying that success in marriage requires more than human wisdom, but also spiritual guidance and understanding.
