Harmonize expresses desire for a lifelong partner
Tanzanian singer Rajab Abdul, widely known as Harmonise, has openly expressed his fatigue with fleeting romantic relationships and his desire for a lasting partnership.
In a candid expression of his feelings shared on his official Instagram account on Friday, June 6, 2025, he stated that he is tired of love stories and desires to build a lasting life with someone special, God willing.
“Kiukweli kabisa hizi story za mapenzi zimenichosha. I just wanna do life with someone, inshallah,” he wrote, reflecting his desire to move beyond fleeting romances and find a partner to share his life with.
Loosely translates as: “Honestly, I’m tired of these love stories; I just want to do life with someone, God willing.”
Love life
This sentiment marks a significant shift in Harmonize’s perspective on relationships. Previously, he has been candid about the challenges he’s faced in love, including heartbreaks and the complexities of past relationships.
On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, he dedicated a captivating message to yet another woman whom he has been rumoured to be dating – and this time round is his fellow Tanzanian singer and multi-instrumentalist Abigael Chams.
In the captivating message, Harmonize bragged about how his current girlfriend is dedicated, smart and respectful, adding that he has never been so happy the way he is.
However, it is not clear if they were romantically involved.
On October 11, 2024, the singer addressed his recent breakup with Poshy Queen. Before dating Poshy Queen, Harmonise had a highly publicised on-and-off relationship with Fridah Kajala Masanja, a Tanzanian actress.
Harmonize officially introduced Kajala as his girlfriend to the public in February 2021, and two months later in April, they had already broken up.
The Bongo singer ruined his relationship with Kajala after he got involved with her daughter Paula.
Kajala was forced to dump Harmonize in April 2021 when she caught him sending her daughter Paula inappropriate photos, leading Kajala to end the relationship.
However, Harmonize started pleading with Kajala to get back together with him after he broke up with his Australian girlfriend Brianna Jai in early March 2022.
The Bongo singer didn’t waste time after his reunion with Kajala; he quickly went down on his knee and asked for her hand in marriage in a glamorous event held in Dar es Salaam on June 24, 2022, but the union did not last longer.
Before Kajala, Harmonize had been married to Italian model Sarah Michelloti.
The two started dating in 2017, and in April 2019, Harmonize went down on his knees and asked for Sarah’s hand in marriage. He proposed to her while they were in Italy in the presence of her family.
The two ultimately got married in September 2019, but a year later, in December 2020, they broke up and got embroiled in a nasty divorce in 2021.
