Gloria Ntazola reveals why she booked last-minute tummy tuck
By Ascah Mwango, November 28, 2025Internet sensation Gloria Ntazola has revealed that she did not research her surgeon before undergoing a tummy tuck procedure during her recent cosmetic trip to Nigeria.
During a Q&A session on her Instagram stories on Friday, November 28, 2025, Ntazola explained that the surgery was a spur-of-the-moment choice.
She shared that she simply woke up one morning, contacted the hospital and requested an urgent appointment, noting that she generally does not plan such decisions.
According to Ntazola, her confidence was largely influenced by a friend who assured her that many women he knew had undergone similar procedures at the same facility without issues.

Feeling frustrated with her stomach and eager for a change, she went ahead with the operation without taking time to verify the surgeon’s credentials or research the clinic.
“No, I did not. I woke up, called the hospital and told them I need an appointment on short notice. I do not plan for things. I told them it was very urgent. My friend has lots of female friends who have done their bodies there before, and he said it was safe. I was really sick of that tummy,” she said.
Cost of surgeries
Her confession comes just days after she disclosed that she spent Ksh900,000 on the tummy tuck alone. On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, the digital creator shared a detailed expense breakdown from her Nigeria trip, giving followers a clear look at the true cost of beauty abroad.
She revealed that her flight and visa cost Ksh285,000. Before the surgery, she stayed four nights in Banana Island, where she paid Ksh47,000 per night. The surgery itself cost Ksh900,000.
Ntazola stayed for 16 days at the hospital for aftercare at a rate of Ksh13,000 per night. She added that shopping, personal items and other utilities pushed her additional expenses to over Ksh600,000.
“I will share with you everything you need to know. It is affordable. Flight ticket and visa were 285k. The hotel where I stayed four days before surgery was 47k a night. That is in Banana Island, it is a bit expensive. Surgery itself is 900k. Staying at the hospital for 16 days, after care, you pay 13k per night. Other utilities, shopping and buying stuff and extra expenditures were over 600k because I am a spendthrift,” she explained.

The content creator said her extended stay at the clinic was optional and based on her recovery needs.
“It is not a must to stay at the clinic for that long. You can leave once you feel like you are good on your own. I stayed long because of the draining and the massages. You can get a B and B, but nobody will come there to look after you. Life on the island is a bit expensive compared to the mainland. But there are many docs around. I forgot to include the garments. Please do your maths right and plan yourself; it is something you can do. I forgot to include the lip fillers I did in a different clinic. The lipo clinic you pay in dollars, not naira or shillings,” she said.
Ntazola has also recently opened up about getting lip fillers, describing the enhancements as part of her commitment to maintaining her image in the cosmetics industry.

“I am in the cosmetics industry. I just do not sell body lotions. I want to venture into other things related to cosmetics. Please, I need to look sharp. Do not expect me to look like someone in the mechanical engineering fields,” she stated.
