Eric Omondi appeals for help to find woman thrown out with 2 kids by her husband

Kenyan veteran comedian and humanitarian activist Eric Omondi has launched a public appeal to trace a woman who was seen being thrown out of her home by her husband, along with her two children, in a video that has gone viral online.
Taking to his official social media channels on Thursday, August 21, 2025, Omondi reshared the disturbing video and urged Kenyans to assist in finding the woman, expressing concern for her safety and that of her children.
“Please help me find her,” he appealed, emphasising the need to protect vulnerable families and provide support in such difficult circumstances.
Viral video
The viral video shows the distressed mother being forced out of her house while carrying her younger child, with her elder child beside her, also being pushed out by the father.
The viral clip has since generated significant online attention, with many calling for action against domestic abuse.
Eric’s sisi kwa sisi
Omondi has been at the forefront of voicing issues affecting the common mwananchi through his party dubbed ‘Sisi kwa Sisi’.
Speaking during an interview with a local TV station on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Eric revealed that he started activism as a way of giving back to society.
The brand influencer went further and disclosed that he has been in the comedy industry for 17 years, and during those years, he had never visited a single children’s home despite receiving massive support from Kenyans as far as his creative work is concerned.
“I have been a comedian for 17 years and while I was doing comedy, am the most followed comedian in the country, this is what happened I asked myself what have I ever done to give back to Kenyans, Kenyans have supported me attended my show, bought my products, cooperates have given me adverts but I have never visited I children’s home,” he said.
The self-proclaimed president of comedy further stated that he is using his platform to fight for the rights of the voiceless Kenyans, adding that he is currently the most followed comedian on social media platforms in the country.
“So I said the best thing I can ever give back to Kenyans is my voice is my platform to fight or to speak for the voiceless that’s how it began with activism and also we do something called ‘sisi kwa sisi’,” he revealed.
