Dr King’ori: Rich people must teach their friends how to make money

Dr King’ori has called on wealthy individuals to use their resources and knowledge to guide their friends and communities on how to build wealth, rather than simply giving handouts.
Speaking on Instagram on Thursday, November 20, 2025, he criticised those who claim they are struggling financially while seeking help from richer friends, saying such actions are misleading and unfair.
“Kama, you are the richest person in your crew, eti saa wewe ndio watu wanakuja kwako wanakutoanisha, eti ohh nisaidie, nimekwama rent, you are lying to people. You understand?” King’ori said.
He said that true wealth should be used to inspire and educate others, enabling them to explore their full potential rather than merely providing temporary relief.

King’ori believes that this approach not only benefits the community but also ensures honesty and accountability among peers. “
Mimi, I believe in the philosophy of, if you can’t inspire your circle kuwaonyesha vile hiyo pesa wanataka inatengenezwa aje, not necessarily the way unaitengeneza but also, having them explore their full potential, unadanganya watu,” he explained.
Wealth is about teaching
He warned that many people approach these ideas with resistance or anger if they are not open-minded but noted that the principles he shares are not new and have existed for years. King’ori stressed that knowledge and education are key to preventing financial struggles.
“Now, kuna different, hizi ideas zetu; ukizi approach without an open mind, utatukasirikia bure, but hizi principles sio sisi tumeandika. These things are there; they have been there for years and years. Even the Bible says my people perish for lack of knowledge,” he said.

In other words, King’ori’s message comes with a reminder that wealth carries responsibility. He encouraged those with resources to mentor others, showing them practical ways to generate income and create opportunities for long-term success.
According to him, helping friends and family understand how money is made is far more valuable than giving temporary financial aid that does not solve underlying problems.
He concluded by urging people to approach financial principles with an open mind, stressing that teaching and inspiring others to succeed is a form of true leadership.
