Comedy legend Daniel Ndambuki, popularly known as Churchill, has publicly applauded fellow comedian and media personality Dr. Ofweneke for his bold message to men about resilience and rising above challenges.

Churchill responded to a video posted by Ofweneke on Friday, August 22, 2025, with the simple but powerful words: “Well in brother. Stay strong.”

The reaction came after Ofweneke shared a heartfelt and deeply personal message directed at men, encouraging them to embrace struggles as part of the journey to becoming stronger and wiser.

Churchill’s acknowledgment highlighted the significance of Ofweneke’s words and reinforced the need for such conversations in society today.

Ofweneke’s message of resilience

In his video, Ofweneke urged men to view difficult times as opportunities for growth rather than despair.

“That’s why naambia wanaume. You must start celebrating when you find yourself at the pit. Hakuna chini ya hapo mahali uko,” he said, emphasizing that hitting rock bottom should be seen as the beginning of a comeback.

He went on to describe his own experiences, from financial struggles to job losses, sharing how those challenges shaped him.

“Wisdom number one, a man who has been through hell and back is the most dangerous in the world. Huyu ni mtu ambae hatishiki. Mimi nimevutwa kazi. So hakuna kitu inanitisha. I know God is in control. And I am still here,” he declared.

According to Ofweneke, these trials not only built his resilience but also gave him peace and strength.

“Nikiangalia hivi, pesa yangu imerudi. Now I am in control. Sijawai kuwa na pesa na peace kama saa hii,” he said, adding that men should pray for the grace to overcome and rise. His final plea was a call for men to stand firm: “Ni wakati wa kusimama sasa.”

Churchill’s quick response to Ofweneke’s words underscored the importance of male voices supporting one another in addressing real struggles that are often left unspoken.

By saying “Well in brother. Stay strong,” Churchill not only applauded his colleague but also validated the message of hope and resilience to men across the country.

In a society where men often face pressure to remain silent about their struggles, Ofweneke’s candid revelation and Churchill’s support have struck a chord with many.
