Brian Mwenda Njagi, the young Kenyan accused of impersonating a High Court lawyer and facing charges related to forging a certificate for admission to practice law, has announced his engagement to actress and radio personality, Kat Kenzie.

Taking to his Instagram account, Mwenda, whose case is pending in court, poured out his feelings in a post, expressing deep admiration and gratitude to Kenzie for standing with him during difficult times.

“You are graceful, elegant, kind, intelligent, honourable, cultured, and dignified. Your mind is beautiful, your spirit is relentless and undoubtedly one to aspire to,” he wrote.

Adding;

“Thank you for walking with me during the most challenging days of my life without judgment. I hope I can be half the friend that you are.”

Mwenda vowed to support her in every possible way, hoping that their engagement would not hinder her pursuit of her goals but rather enable her to live her purpose fully.

“May this step bring you closer to God,” Mwenda added, emphasizing his desire for a healthy and progressive relationship with his fiancée. “Thank you for all that you are and you will ever evolve to. I love you and I respect you paramountly,” he expressed.

Mwenda not so single after all

During an Instagram Q&A session with his followers in October 2023, Mwenda disclosed that he was single noting that no one would want to date a man masquerading as a lawyer.

“No one wants to date Brian, a ‘Kenyan man masquerading as a lawyer,’ too much trouble. No one can handle that trouble,” Brian responded.

Another follower expressed her interest in his relationship status, and this time, he affirmed his single status.

“No, I’m not seeing anyone. I think it’s important that that should be known because I saw a blogger almost having a field day with that. No, I’m not,” he affirmed.
