Betty Kyallo’s lover Charlie slams critics, claims they are secretly attracted to him
Media personality Betty Kyallo’s boyfriend, Charlie Jones, has fired back at critics who have been trolling him and their relationship.
Taking to his Instagram stories on Saturday, May 4, 2025, Charlie unleashed a fiery tirade aimed at individuals he believes are obsessed with him and his personal life.
In his posts, Charlie voiced his frustration with people who constantly bring up his name in conversations, especially men who mention him negatively while trying to impress women.
He suggested that such individuals are not haters but rather fans who are secretly fixated on him. Charlie dismissed their criticism as a sign of envy and misplaced attraction.
He went on to accuse his detractors of being unable to hold meaningful conversations without involving his name, claiming that their focus on him only highlights how much more exciting his life is compared to theirs.
“When you talking to a woman and instead of spitting game you talk shit about me just makes you my fan. It doesn’t make you a hater, it makes you someone who is sexually attracted to me,” he wrote.
Adding;
“You gay, and my life is so lit it supercedes your boring life to a point I gotta be a topic for you to entertain the females.”
Charlie emphasised that he remains unaffected by the hate, thanks to the love he shares with Betty. He expressed gratitude for having her in his life, stating that their relationship brings him constant happiness and shields him from bad days.
“Can’t have a bad day when this is my wife. Every day is a good day,” he wrote on another post.
Age gap
Betty Kyallo has been in a public relationship with Charlie since 2023. Their union has drawn attention mostly because of their age gap. Early reports had claimed that Charlie was 21 years old, but he later came out to clarify that he is 26.
The term Ben 10, often used to refer to younger men dating older women, was thrown around in online conversations, but Charlie dismissed the label and said he’s happy in the relationship.
He added that age is not a factor when it comes to love, and he is focused on building a strong bond with Betty.
The couple marked their first anniversary in November 2024 with sweet messages on social media. Charlie described Betty as his wife, best friend, and partner, showing just how solid their relationship is despite the noise around them.
