Betty Bayo’s daughter pens emotional message on her late mum’s birthday
Betty Bayo’s daughter, Sky Victor, has shared a heartfelt tribute to her late mother on what would have been her 40th birthday.
Writing a moving letter to heaven, on Facebook on Monday, November 24, 2025, Sky expressed the pain of losing her mother just days ago and reflected on the love and strength Betty Bayo showed during her life.

Sky described the difficulty of adjusting to life without her mother and the emptiness left in moments that were once filled with her presence.
Sky wrote, “Mum, today should have been your 40th birthday. I should have been holding your hand, laughing with you, celebrating your life — not writing a letter to heaven. Losing you a few days ago still feels unreal. My heart is still learning how to beat without you, how to breathe in a world where your voice is silent.”
Despite the grief, Sky also celebrated her mother’s life and the sacrifices she made for her family.
A celebration of love
In the letter, Sky described her mother as a person of both strength and tenderness, who carried the burdens of life to protect her loved ones. She said, “You were strength wrapped in softness, love poured into human form. You lived your life for us — every prayer, every sacrifice, every late-night worry that you never spoke about. You carried the world on your shoulders just so I wouldn’t have to.”
Sky reflected on the small moments she now misses, from quiet mornings to long nights, and even the sound of her mother’s laugh and footsteps.
Sky thanked her mother for the guidance, comfort, and unconditional love she received and promised to continue making her proud. She wrote, “Thank you for the years you gave me, for the lessons, for the comfort, for the love that still holds me even now. I will keep making you proud, the way you always hoped I would. Your dreams for me will not die with you — I will carry them forward with courage, just like you taught me.”
Sky concluded her message with a wish for her mother’s peace and a reaffirmation of her love. She said, “Happy 40th birthday, Mum. Celebrate with the angels. I hope heaven gives you the peace earth tried to take from you. Until we meet again, I love you — today, tomorrow, and every day after that.”
