Bella Comedy breaks silence after assault video goes viral

Bella Comedy has spoken for the first time after the assault video went viral on various social media platforms, sparking public outrage.
In a TikTok video circulated on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, Bella made her remarks on her live session on her TikTok account while questioning Pavilion as to why he did not report her and instead physically attacked her on Saturday, August 9, 2025.
“Did you report me? You should have gone to the police station and reported your allegations about why you beat me,” Bella said.
Bella Comedy explained that her content only comes up after a story is already viral; hence, she was not behind the content around Pavilion.
“My content only comes up after a story is trending out there, i have never done a new and green story,” Bella said.
In addition, Bella Comedy, while crying for help, has revealed that she suffered injuries after the assault.
“This is not content, I am hurt from the kicks I got from him, my legs are seriously hurt,” Bella said.

Viral video on assault against Bella
Bella’s story sparked up following a disturbing assault caught on video showing a businessman going by the name Pavilion physically attacking the female content creator, Bella Comedy, at the Kutiti Festival at Nairobi’s Carnivore Gardens, which triggered widespread outrage.
The disturbing footage, shared extensively on social media, shows Pavilion, in the company of another man, physically assaulting Bella, who, at first, can be seen kneeling before she’s pulled up and punched repeatedly in the belly.
The outrageous act prompted angry reactions from Kenyans and leaders alike, with Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi demanding that he surrender to the nearest police station.
The assault occurred during the Kutit Festival, a Kalenjin cultural event held at the Carnivore Gardens, where Bella Comedy, a popular comedian and TikTok star, was performing.
In the viral video, several men can be seen standing idly as the man repeatedly slaps and hits Bella, though the exact trigger remains unclear.
At some point, the businessman drags Bella out of the view of the cameras as a female voice is heard asking, “Mbona mnaachilia dame achapwe?”
Tearfully addressing the incident in a video shared on TikTok, the female comedian described the assault as humiliating as she attempted to clear her name from the accusations levelled against her by the businessman.
