Contemporary singer Kevin Kioko alias Bahati and his wife Diana B have seemingly been fighting over her clothing over the past few weeks ever since he launched his political career.

The Mathare parliamentary hopeful has in a vlog indicated- that he did not want Diana to wear her more scantily clad outfits for the sake of voters. He argued that at this point she is a Mheshimiwa’s wife.

“You should respect my voters. Why are you wearing torn clothes? You should know you are a Mheshimiwa’s wife. You should know that people are looking up to you,” Bahati said.

However, on her part, the content creator-cum-rapper said the electorate did not really focus on the rugged jeans that she put on during a past campaign tour in Mathare.

“When we went to Mathare to give out flour I went like this and no one complained,” she argued.

Bahati is among the celebrities who made it to the ballot in the upcoming general election slated for August 9.

Initially, he had been asked to step down in favour of incumbent MP Anthony Oluoch on grounds that Mathare would be zoned for the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party.

Speaking after receiving the certificate, he expressed gratitude to Jubilee party leader Uhuru Kenyatta and Azimio-One Kenya flag bearer Raila Odinga for the opportunity.
