Self-proclaimed aspiring politician Alinur Mohamed has allegedly called out Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua over what he terms as ‘cheap publicity ‘

He took to social media to address the matter between singer Bahati and Ezekiel Mutua where he allegedly canceled Ksh 200K partnership deal.

In an Instagram post, Alinur promised to pay Bahati the amount saying Ezekiel Mutua tampered with Bahati’s main source of income as well as throwing shade to his name.

” I believe there are better ways to sort issues other than parading them online for cheap publicity. KFCB’s CEO Dr. Ezekiel Mutua alias Deputy Jesus has said that he has canceled Ksh 200K partnership deal with Bahati. That has not only tainted Baha’s name but also jeopardized his main source of income. In my consistent commitment to supporting local artists, I am going to pay the Ksh 200K to Bahati,” Alinur wrote.

On Saturday, June 12, Mutua on Twitter announced his withdrawal from the deal where Mutua had promised Bahati Ksh 200K to help him record his new album.

According to him, Bahati failed to meet his team’s clean content policy standards hence making them break their partnership.

” This week Kenya Film Classification Board canceled over Ksh 200K and other kind support to musician Bahati following the posting of videos that contravened our clean content and partnership policy. Our team decided to cancel the support and disassociate completely with the planned event, ” Mutua tweeted.

However, Bahati is yet to give a response on the whole issue regarding both parties.
