The Real Househelps of Kawangware actress Kendi Kinyua alias Makena is desperately looking for a job.

The actress, who rose to fame during a TV series depicting the lives of househelps in Nairobi, says she has been to provide as a parent.

Makena says her papers are ready for any official engagement on top of her talent as a thespian.

“I’m kindly requesting, if you know of a job opportunity mahali wewe niambie. Manze mi natafuta job. I have papers, niko na talent, na pia sichagui,” she said in a video posted on her Facebook account.

According to the talented actress, she has projects that have not materialised in terms of returns on investments, which require some capital input to succeed.

Hakuna job siezi fanya. It’s not easy when you are a parent and you can’t provide. Personally nasikia nimefika mwisho ndio niamue kukuja to the public. I have projects that haven’t started paying yet. It’s demoralising when unaangalia hata projects uko nazo you need money at the end of the day to have them implemented or rather to execute them,” she says.

Makena, who featured in The Real Househelps of Kawangware TV series as a middle-class earner, has not featured in any other major TV programme since the programme went off air.

She says she is ready to take job opportunities even outside the country, and is ready with her passport.

“This is not clout-chasing or anything; I’m kindly looking for a job. If you know of any opportunity mahali niambie, hata kama ni nje my passport is ready. Please,” she pleaded.
