Police in Likuyani, Kakamega County have launched investigations into the deaths of a 65-year-old woman and her 25-year-old daughter.

The two were found dead in their house in Sango area on Tuesday morning, October 8.

Authorities say the victims were raped and, thereafter, strangled by unknown people on Monday night.

Likuyani OCPD, Boniface Lisiolo, confirmed the incident.
