Kenya Power announces scheduled blackout for Saturday
Kenya Power has issued a notice informing Kenyans of a planned outage that will affect one county on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
In a statement, the utility company, known for conducting the scheduled outages as part of network maintenance stated that the blackout will run for eight hours from 9 am to 5 pm.
“Good evening. Kindly receive tomorrow’s power interruptions,” Kenya Power said.
According to Kenya Power, the blackout will only affect the western region including parts of Siaya County.
Areas that will be affected are Boro and Mbaga including Nyachwinya, Mulaha, Hawinga, Unyolo, Sidundo, Udamayi, Uasi, Nyalaji, Nyakado, Mbaga, Boro market, Futro and adjacent customers.
