The President noted that Mutuse has shown dedication to addressing local issues in Makueni.

Huyu muungwana, ni mungwana mwenye msimamo,Ruto said, emphasising that Mutuse’s work is focused on the people rather than politics.

Ruto highlighted the key challenges facing Ukambani, noting that water remains a major issue in the region.

Na si mnamjua? Ukileta maneno, maneno, maneno anapita na wewe. Sia alipita na jamaa mwingine hapo?,” Ruto said, indirectly referencing Gachagua’s impeachment

The President reassured locals that his government is taking steps to address the region’s water problems.

Future plans

He also hinted at upcoming development projects, including dams, electricity expansion, and roads to ensure sustainable growth and improved living standards.

Tutamaliza Thwake Dam,” Ruto said, promising that infrastructure projects like Thwake Dam will be completed to improve water supply and support local development.

His remarks were met with cheers from the crowd, who welcomed the promise of tangible improvements in water and infrastructure across Makueni.
