Ruto condoles with Beatrice Elachi following death of her son

Dagorreti North MP Beatrice Elachi is mourning the passing on of her son Elvis Murakana Namenya.
News of the demise has been confirmed by President William Ruto and Kileleshwa Member of County Assembly (MCA) Robert Alai through separate statements this Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
In a statement shared via his social media, Ruto sent his condolences to Elachi’s family following the loss.
“May God grant Mheshimiwa Beatrice Elachi and the family strength to bear with the loss of their dear son, Elvis Murakana. Be comforted by the word of the Lord in Psalm 147:3: He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds,” Ruto’s statement read.
Meanwhile, Alai confirmed that Murakana was Elachi’s fourth child.
The cause of the death remains unknown.
Tragic loss
“Dear Beatrice Elachi, it is with a heavy heart that I extend my deepest condolences to you and your family on the tragic loss of your son, Elvis Murakana,” Alai’s statement read in part.
Alai took the opportunity to convey his condolences to Elachi and her family.
“As the MCA for Kileleshwa Ward, I join the people of Dagoreti North and beyond in mourning this profound loss. Losing a child is an unimaginable pain, and my thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time,”his statement read.
“May you find strength and solace in the love and support that surrounds you. Elvis, your fourth child, will forever remain in our hearts and memories. On behalf of the Kileleshwa Ward community, I offer our unwavering support and prayers for you and your family as you navigate this grief,” he concluded.
Former media personality Bonnie Musambi is among others who have condoled with Elachi after the news filtered through
Musambi sent his tribute via social media wishing the family strength and comfort.
