Six bodies of unidentified people were on Wednesday morning found at Kiserian village in Mukutani Ward in Baringo South, Baringo County.

The bodies were found after security officers repulsed a bandit attack on Tuesday night in which they reportedly killed one of the raiders.

But on Wednesday morning, locals found six more bodies that appeared to have been executed elsewhere and transported to Kiserian where they are believed to have been dumped during or after the bandit attack.

The slain victims, according to villagers, were smartly dressed people who had donned official wear.

The bodies were taken to the Kabarnet town mortuary.

Baringo County Commissioner Henry Wafula declined to comment on the incident but referred journalists to the Rift Valley Regional Commissioner George Natembeya.
