Passaris mourns WWE icon Hulk Hogan
Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris has expressed her deep sorrow over the passing of WWE legend and Hall of Famer Terry Bollea, better known as Hulk Hogan.
In a heartfelt tribute shared on her official X account on Thursday, July 24, 2025, Passaris said that his charisma, strength, and larger-than-life persona had transcended the wrestling ring and inspired millions worldwide.
In addition, she conveyed her thoughts and prayers to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans during this difficult time and added that she hoped the “Hulkster’s” legacy would live on forever.
“Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of WWE legend and Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan. His charisma, strength, and larger-than-life persona transcended the wrestling ring, inspiring millions around the world. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and fans during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Hulkster; your legacy will live on forever,” Passaris wrote.

Hogan’s death
The professional wrestler died on Thursday, July 24, at the age of 71, according to World Wrestling Entertainment.
WWE, in a statement shared via its official Twitter account, said it was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Hogan, describing him as one of pop culture’s most recognisable figures and crediting him with helping WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s.
The company expressed its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans.

Hogan first rose to fame in WWE, where he is widely credited with transforming professional wrestling into mainstream, family-friendly entertainment. With his theatrical flair and larger-than-life persona, Hogan brought unprecedented media exposure to the sport and drew new fans to WWE.
