Maasai Mara University student dies of three-day erection

A Maasai Mara University student on Thursday night died over continuous erection in Narok County.

In a police report seen by this reporter, WO, 22, died at Shepherd Hospital where he was admitted while complaining of lower abdomen and constant erection.

The matter was reported by the university’s Dean of Students Aden Mohamed that the student experienced the erection for three days.

The erection took place from Saturday, February 19 to February 21 prompting the institution’s management to take him to hospital on February 23.

“There is a body of a student at Shepherd hospital who was admitted yesterday (February 23) at around 1020hrs complaining of lower abdominal pain and constant erection of the penis from Saturday 19/02/022,” the police report read in parts.

The report further revealed that he was “complaining of lower abdominal pain and constant erection of the penis from Saturday of February 19.”

Police officers visited the hospital and identified the deceased as WO who reportedly attended a party with five others on February 18, 2022.

It was reported that immediately after he had a meal, the deceased started complaining of constant erection which forced the student to seek medical attention.

“The body was photographed by the scene of crime personnel in Narok and was moved to Narok Referral Hospital morgue pending a postmortem,” the report read.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations – Narok North is dealing with the matter after an inquest number 9/2022 was opened and a progress report followed.
